1. Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Bhubaneswar, the capital and largest city of Odisha secured the top rank in the smart city list in India. Categorized as a Tier-2 city, it is a regional hub and center for the economic and cultural importance of East India.
Plus, this city is an emerging education and information technology (IT) hub. Chandrasekharpur locality in Bhubaneswar is noted for several IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Mindtree, Mahindra Satyam, AABSyS IT, and ESSPL.
